Michael Hofmann
I am an industrial and organisational psychologist and have a PhD in physics. As a Certified Scrum Trainer(R) and certified Lego(R) Serious Play(R) online facilitator, I have been advising on Scrum and agility for over 15 years. In doing so, I benefit from my experience in medium-sized businesses and management consultancy at Accenture.
In addition to my role as managing partner at Arbeitswandel GmbH, I am chairman of the supervisory board and a founding member of oose Innovative Informatik eG.
Privately, I like to test the edge of my comfort zone. Be it through personality development on the mental level or kite surfing on the practical level.
I live in Schleswig-Holstein with my two sons and my partner.

Experience
In more than 350 trainings with more than 2600 people, I have gained a lot of experience in conveying Scrum and agility with ease for the participants. This experience is complemented by background stories and facts that I incorporate from my perspective as an industrial and organisational psychologist and thus explain not only how Scrum works, but also what is psychologically behind it.
My "why" for training in Scrum and consulting for Scrum? - I want to lead people trustingly and with joy into self-organisation and personal responsibility! I support teams with minimal interventions to get them excited about agile working with a maximum feeling of ease and security.
I first discovered the potential of Scrum in 2006. My personal change of work and passion for Scrum arose from acute time constraints when, in addition to my role as interim head of a business unit, I did not have enough resources to define, delegate and control work packages for a project. While looking for organisational ideas for such cases, I came across Scrum and adopted the idea of leaving the detailed planning to the team and only talking to the team about the goal, a step-by-step partial delivery of the result and result characteristics.
This was my initial spark for the introduction of Scrum - or rather what I thought it was at the time.
Since then I have introduced Scrum in various companies and given trainings. From DAX corporations to small medium-sized companies. In addition, with oose Innovative Informatik eG, I founded a company together with others that is consistently managed according to agile principles of self-organisation. Or better: runs itself.
All this flows into my seminars in the form of digressions, stories, exercises.
Other people say the following about it:
"You are incredibly fun to listen to."(Konstantin Kunze"
"That was the best digital workshop I have participated in so far." (Julia Heskamp)
"It was a very interesting seminar with a very good trainer and motivated participants. I directly advertised it in our HR department." (Karen Bösch, Hermes Germany)
After an agility check with subsequent workshop: "Hats off! Respect. I wouldn't have thought that you could get so much out of such a short time. You exceeded all expectations!" (Bernhard Wagensommer, Prinect Head RD, Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG)
